Thomas Eugene Key Sr., 76, passed away Fri. Sept. 2, 2016 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Sept. 3, 2016 from 5pm-8pm and on Sun. Sept. 4, 2016 from 1:30pm-2:15pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2:30pm on Sun. Sept. 4, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Crossroads Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS.
Mr. Key was born in Lake, MS and was a longtime resident of Pelahatchie, MS where he was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church. Mr. Key was the owner of T&L Glass Company in Pearl, MS and was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Rogers Key; three children, Virginia Key White (Ricky), Thomas E. Key Jr. (Diana) and Judy Key Shaw (Mark); sister, Joanne Bain; brother, Glenn Key; seven grandchildren, Lacie Walters, Britney Stewart, Kristy Irby, Austin Key, Anthony Shaw, Drake Key, Leilani Key and 11 great grandchildren. Mr. Key is preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Eunice Key and a sister, Dot Weems.
