THOMAS RICHARD LESHE 

Thomas Leshe went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 23, 2024, after suffering for many years with Parkinson’s Disease. Services will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, Monday, July 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:30. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens, 1106 Star Road, Brandon.

Mr. Leshe was born in Greenwood, MS, November 14, 1941, to James Gilliam Leshe and Nora Watkins Leshe. He attended Clarksdale High School, then served in the U S. Navy from 1960 through 1962. The family moved to Terry, MS, in 1963. In 1964, he married Brenda Taylor Leshe. During his life he worked various jobs, retiring from Jitney Jungle/Wynn-Dixie in 2003.

He and wife, Brenda, moved to Brandon, MS, in 1996. They became active members of Park Place Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Mr. Leshe spread the Gospel of Jesus every chance he got. 

Mr. Leshe is survived by his wife, Brenda, son, Michael Leshe (Maria) of Conroe, TX, grandson, Sean Leshe (Sydney) and great-granddaughter, Savannah of Conroe, TX, and granddaughter, Christine Leshe of Conroe, TX. He is also survived by a brother, James Leshe of Lake Village, AR, brother-in-law, Phillip Taylor of Terry, MS, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patsy Breazeale, and mother-in-law, Nell Eley.
