Thomas Leon Lewis

Thomas “Tommy” Leon Lewis of Greenville, MS died on October 3, 2023 in Brandon, MS.  He was born on November 20, 1947 in Laurel, MS.

Tommy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  He began his career and continued on to retirement with Abide Aero Corporation in Greenville, MS.  He had a passion for flying and all things aviation. He enjoyed spending free time playing the guitar and took pride in his collection. He will be missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom J. Lewis and Helen Sue Lewis of Greenville, MS; and Billie Sue Lewis (spouse).

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Lewis of Brandon, MS; daughters, Valerie Bearden (Jon), Veronica Mitchell (Robbie) of Waco, TX, Ashley Rutherford of Brandon, MS; sister, Patty Lankford of Gore Springs, MS; grandchildren, Scarlett Mitchell, Gabe Irby, Myles Bearden, Stella Mitchell, Adlee Hill, Enisley Hill; and two nieces.

The family will hold a private graveside service with burial in Greenville, MS.  Donations in his memory may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
