Thomas Earl Pierce, 67, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at his home. Visitation is 9am Wednesday, July 5, 2017, until the 11am chapel service at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Military services will follow at Mississippi Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Michael Bradley officiating and pallbearers are Houston Jennings, Beau Jennings, Nicholas Edwards, Steven Herren, Anthony Tharp and Kevin Pierce.
Mr. Pierce was born in Jackson, MS on August 28, 1949 to Earl Thomas Pierce and Dorothy Graham Pierce. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US. Army, 919 Engineering 11th ACVVC Black Horse Troopers.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Pierce; daughters, Cheryl Lynn Nichols and Rachel Louise Edwards both of Brandon, MS; son, Michael Wayne Edwards of Brandon, MS; sisters, Brenda Herren of Utica, MS and Lisa Williamson of Georgia; brother, Kevin Pierce of Brandon, MS; and grandchildren, Houston Jennings, Beau Jennings, Nicholas Edwards, Autumn Edwards, Alexis Lewis, Ethan Lewis and James Lewis.
