Thomas Lynn Harpole

Thomas Lynn Hastings Harpole, 72, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with a 3:00 pm Wednesday interment in the Clarkson Cemetery in Mathiston, MS. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am-12:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Harpole was a native of Trenton, TN. He was the son of Derry Jackson Harpole and Marguerite Celine Hastings Harpole. He was married to Mary Ellan Sewell Harpole. Mr. Harpole worked for Southern Electric for many years before retiring as an electrician. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He attended Lake Harbor Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. He enjoyed playing Golf and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Harpole was preceded in death his parents; stepdaughter, Kimberly Anne Powers and his sister, Jacquline Harpole Porates.

Mr. Harpole is survived by his wife, Mary Ellan Harpole; children, Thomas Lynn Hastings Harpole, Jr., Harrison Brewster(Jamie) Harpole and Kevin Joseph (Cristin) Powers; sister, Rita Harpole Fowlkes; brother, Derry Jackson “Jack” (Betty) Harpole, Jr.; grandchildren, Harrison Harpole, Phoebe Rose Harpole, Sammy Harpole, Clancy Powers, Desmond Powers and Amelia Powers; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
