Thomas "Scott" Hendrix

Scott Hendrix Brandon, MS Thomas Scott Hendrix, 46, joined his Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday, September 29, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11:30am Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with interment in First Baptist Church of Fannin Cemetery. Scott attended Madison Ridgeland High School and Delta State University. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and he was a NRA Certified Instructor. Scott had a very successful career with Jitney Jungle Stores of America and he most recently worked at Lowe’s of Madison. Mr. Hendrix was very active in First Baptist Church of Fannin and was a loving husband, fabulously loving dad, son and brother. Scott was an inspiration to many people and will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Stacey Singleton Hendrix; son, Connor Reed Hendrix and step-son, Daniel Madison Martin; mother, Virginia McNeece (Don) of Brandon and father, Charles Hendrix (Nancy) of Brandon; sister, April Davis (John); nephew, Kyle Davis and niece, Reagan Davis of Thomasville, GA. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Fannin, Building Fund or Boy Scouts of America, Madison Troop 9.
