Mr. Thomas Wayne Stewart, age 60, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Hospice in his Hands in Madden. Visitation was held 5-8pm Friday, October 7, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 11am Saturday, October 8, 2011 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Springhill Cemetery. Bro. Ray Ingram officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Stewart was born in Canton, MS in 1951. He loved music and watching western movies. He loved life and will never be forgotten for his kind heart. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Stewart is preceded in death by his wife, Anita Faye Kelly Stewart; parents, Zack Stewart Sr. and Mavis Lampkin Stewart and brother, James A. Stewart.
Mr. Stewart is survived by 2 sisters, Shirley Smith (Jimmy Dale) of Pelahatchie and Eloise Harrell of Pelahatchie; brother, Zack Stewart Jr. of Pelahatchie; 2 nieces, Kathy J. Jones and Amanda J. Owens; 2 nephews, Derek L. Smith and Jerry Harrell II; 4 great nieces; 3 great nephews and a host of friends.
