Mr. Timothy Jackson Duett, age 42 passed away on October 7, 2015 at his place of work. A graveside service was held at the Ludlow Cemetery on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 with the Rev. Jim Burns presiding. Visitation was held from 12:00 pm until 2:15 pm Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Duett was born in Ackerman, MS on December, 29, 1972 to his mother Janie Duett Walker formerly of Lauderdale County. He was of the Baptist faith and affiliated with the Ludlow Baptist Church. Some of the things he enjoyed doing were being outside, hunting and fishing, barbecuing and he loved working. He loved his children and enjoyed being around family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Inez Duett; uncle Tommy Duett; his aunt Linda Drewery; mother in law, Carolyn McMillan, sister in law, Emma McMillan.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Joyce Duett; mother, Janie Duett Walker; two children, his son, Austin Duett; daughter, Jordan Duett; sister, Candance Leanne Atkinson; brothers, Fred Coley Higginbotham, and J.C. Higginbotham; his aunt, Ann Myers; uncle, John Duett; many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends
Pallbearers were J.D. McElroy, Fred Higginbotham, Brandon Atkinson, Casey Atkinson, Andrew Dunn, Velton McMillan, and honorary pall bearer J.C. Higginbotham.
Services were entrusted to the care of Ott an Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
