Timothy Lee Martin, son of Alvin and Marlynn Martin, was born April 27, 1978, and passed away in Brandon, Mississippi, on July 10, 2012. He was married to Kim Kristin Martin on March 8, 2007. To this union was born one daughter, Emma Elizabeth Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by his parents Alvin Ray Martin and Marlynn Kessler Martin who reside in Brandon, Mississippi, and grandfather J. Lynwood Kessler, of Campbellsville, Kentucky. Mr. Martin is also survived by his wife, Kim Martin and daughters, Emma Elizabeth Martin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Randi Leigh Bonvillian of St. Martinville, Louisiana, his brother Alvin Ray Martin II and his son Kade Kessler Martin, his sister Nelia Anne Toups and husband, Todd, and children, Haley, Natalie, and Aiden, and brother Christopher W. Martin, all of Brandon, Mississippi, his uncle and aunt, Jim and Cathy Kessler and daughters, Megan and Emily, all of Trussville, Alabama.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leland and Mabel Martin and maternal grandmother, Margaret Mae Kessler, all of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
He had professed faith in Jesus Christ on March 23, 1986 and was baptized into the fellowship of the Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a member of the young adult choir and served as an usher.
Ott and Lee Funeral home in Brandon, Mississippi will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and the funeral service Friday, July 13 at 11:00 am with a brief visitation prior to the service at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.
