Timothy R. Jones

Timothy R. Jones, 63, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at his residence. Visitation will be 3:30-5:15 pm Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A private family service will be held afterwards.

Timothy was a lifelong resident of Rankin County and a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. He was an avid sportsman, loving to hunt and fish and retired as sales manager at PCA in Pearl.  Timothy enjoyed being around his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Jones of Pelahatchie; father, Tim Jones of Pearl; daughter, Christina Stafford of Pelahatchie of Pelahatchie; son, Timothy Brian Jones of Pearl; step-daughters, Shena Lovern (Ronnie) of Pelahatchie and Tammy Glazier (Rob) of Greenwood; step-son, Bo Cockrell (Alicia) of Florence; sister, Peggy Nail of Brandon; brother, Danny Jones (Angie) of Florence; grandchildren, Logan Hadley, Bobby Glazier, Addyson Cockrell, Margaret Ruth Stafford, Marlie Stafford, Kensleigh Cockrell, Hunter Cockrell and Laine Cockrell. Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Lil Jones of Pearl.
