Graveside services with funeral honors were held 11 am Friday, December 17, 2010 at Sharon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 5-8 pm Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Matt Clark officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest.Mr. Strickland was a native of Neshoba Co. He was the son
of Lloyd and Mary Bell Strickland. He worked many years for Novelty Machine
Works as a Machinist. Mr. Strickland proudly served his country in the United States
Army. He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord greatly. He loved his family
very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be greatly
missed by all who loved and knew him.Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd
and Mary Bell Strickland, wife, Pauline Doss Strickland, brothers, O.V. Strickland,
Raymond Strickland, Rudolph Strickland, Dewitt Strickland and Earl Douglas Strickland.Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Mary Frances King
of Walnut Grove; daughter, Debra Lynn (Ronald Lee) Dutton of Walnut Grove;
Thomas Shelton (Stacey) Strickland of Lake; Tony Shon Strickland of Sebastopol; Etoil
Gardner of AL; Bonnie Robinson of AL; Pete (Jan) Strickland of Forest; Robert (Arlene)
