Tom Davis, Jr.

Mr. Tom Davis, Jr., age 89, a resident of Morton passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS.  Visitation will be held 10am-12pm Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Chapel service will be held 12pm Saturday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  There will be NO graveside service but burial will be in Morton Memorial Gardens.  Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve the Davis family.

Mr. Davis was born in Rankin County on October 10, 1934.  He worked many years at B.C. Rogers poultry plant in the packaging department.  Tom was a lifetime resident of Scott County.  He was an avid gardner and farmer.  Tom greatly loved his dogs, he was a kind neighbor and friend to all.  He was a born again Christian, loving son and brother.  His warm heart and smile will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom Harris Davis and Nola Tendal Davis; siblings, Louise Davis, Robert Lee Davis, Linda McNabb and Niva Alice Broome.

He is survived by his siblings, Gladis McDaniel, Nellie McBride (James), Earnest "Red" Davis (Lucy), Virginia Thompson, Linn Davis (Diane) and Glenn Davis; many nieces, nephews and friends.
