Tom “Bitty Baby” Garrett Jr., age 60 passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at University Medical Center in Jackson. His visitation was held 11am-1:30pm Saturday, April, 25, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Graveside service was held 2pm Saturday at Holly Bush Cemetery. Bro. Brian Lewis officiated the service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Bitty Baby was born November 17, 1956 in Rankin County. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and mud riding. His family stated he had a big heart and was always helping others. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Garrett Sr. and Evelyn Stewart Garrett; brothers, J.W., Douglas and Bill Miller and Jamie Martin; great granddaughter, Ava Grace Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Garrett of Pelahatchie; sons, Daniel Finnegan and Austin Wade; brother, Buddy Garrett; sisters, Elizabeth Callahan and Ruthy Wilcher; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Daniel Finnegan, Austin Wade, James Garrett, Matt Engle, Eddie Furlow, Jonathan Garrett, Dewayne Bowman and Billy Wiltcher.
