SERVICES: 11 AM SATURDAY, JANUARY 30, 2016 AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON
BURIAL: FLORAL HILLS MEMORY GARDENS
VISITATION: 9 AM SATURDAY AT OTT AND LEE
Tommie Bryant McDill, age 87, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her home. Visitation is 9 am Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11 am Saturday at the funeral home with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Mrs. McDill was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church where she served in the nursery. She loved the babies and expressed her love and care for them and their parents. Mrs. McDill retired from Trustmark National Bank after many years of service and enjoyed her work very much. She was very sensitive to the need of her customers.
Mrs. McDill was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mattie Bryant of Raleigh; sisters, Winnie Jones of Pearl and Kathleen Schweiger of Jackson; brothers, Lester Bryant of Moselle and James O. Bryant of Pearl.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James A. McDill of Pearl; daughter, Karen M. Genovese; son-in- law, John Genovese; grandchildren, Katie Genovese and Eric Genovese, all of San Antonio, TX.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers who have assisted in her care over the last several years.
