Tommy Mclendon

Tommy Glen McLendon, 83, passed away on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 at his home in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 from 10am-11:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 12pm on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mr. McLendon was born on May 8, 1939 in Harrisville, MS to the late Melvin McLendon and Maxie Ola Keen McLendon. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Mr. McLendon served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. McLendon is survived by his three children, Greg McLendon (Clarissa), Marc McLendon (Lesley) and Tonya Hardy (Tommy); sister, Judy McLendon; five grandchildren, John McLendon, Jacob McLendon, Jessica McLendon, Cassidy Hardy, Hayden Hardy and five great grandchildren, Alex McLendon, Judson McLendon, Jace McLendon, Jack McLendon and J.W. McLendon. Mr. McLendon is also preceded in death by his wife, Nyoka McLendon and a brother, Jerome McLendon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
