Tony Randall Buckley, age 53, a resident of Hickory, died Monday, February 15, 2016 in Smith County.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday, February 18, 2016, from Sand Springs Baptist Cemetery in Hickory.. Visitation will be held from 10am prior to service time at Sand Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Jackie Strebeck will officiate.
Tony was born in Forest on November 1, 1962. He grew up in the Forest area and at a very young age began riding with his father in his 18 wheeler all over the country. He had a love for big rig trucks, eventually making a career of driving.
He was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Martin and Ollie Buckley of Hickory, Boots and Tennie Clark of Forest, father; Allen Edward Buckley, son, Tony Martin Buckley and just recently his older brother, Ronnie Buckley.
Survivors include his mother, Geraldine C. Hall of Forest, two children; Stacy Buckley of Chunky and Cody Buckley of Hickory, one sister: Tammy B. Mahaffey of Forest and four grandchildren; Brianna Walters, Bergan Walters, Tony Walters and Jasa Maxwell.
Pallbearers are Justin Smith, John Williams, Jordan Smith, Buddy Kanayurak, David Everett and John R. Buckley.
