Tony M. Weeks

Mr. Tony M. Weeks, age 76, a resident of the Kalem Community passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS.  Visitation will be held 11am-12:50pm Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Kalem Community Church.  Service will be held 1pm Saturday at Kalem Community Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve this family.

Mr. Weeks was born in Hinds County on May 25, 1947.  Tony enjoyed carpentry, playing pool, all sports and music,  especially singing in the choir at church on Sunday at Kalem Community Church.  Family was a very important thing to Tony and getting together with all the children and grands and great grands was something he really enjoyed.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, C.B. Weeks and mother, Bonnie J. Wade;  and son, Mike Weeks. grandparents, Pat and Myrtle Huff Wade.

He is survived by his children, Jon Weeks (Tomeka), Michelle O’Cain Hannah (Mike) and Peter Weeks; bonus siblings, Bubba Weeks, Sheila Tucker and Roger McCrimon; sister, Sandy McKellar, nephew, Wayne McKellar; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
