Travis Haralson

Travis Lamar Haralson, 79, a resident of Forest, MS, passed away on Sat. Aug. 27, 2022 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. Aug. 29, 2022 from 1pm-2:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Mon. Aug. 29, 2022 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest, MS with burial in the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Forest, MS.

Mr. Haralson was born on Dec. 21, 1942 in Scott County, MS to the late Woodrow Haralson and Carmen Putnam Haralson. He was a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Mr. Haralson retied from Tyson Foods as a Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, gardening and spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Haralson is survived by his daughter, Pamela Sanford (Tony); two sons, Bobby Haralson (Lisa) and Johnny Haralson (Vickie); sister, Nona Dukes; six grandchildren, Joseph Haralson (Heather), Josh Haralson (Bea), Samantha Judge (Joseph), Brittany Runnels (Fred), Alexis Guthrie, Calee Renfroe and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Haralson is also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn May Haralson; grandchild, Daniel Wilcher and two brothers, Dwight Haralson and Junior Harvel.
