Vaughan Atkison

Vaughan Gholson Atkison, the very essence of Goodness, passed away on Wednesdayt, November 3, 2021, at the age of 34 in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Vaughan was born July 24, 1987, in Jackson, MS to Randy Atkison and Cherry Vaughan Atkison. He enjoyed working with wood flooring and specialized in designing them. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Vaughan was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Vaughan is survived by his parents, Randy Atkison and Cherry Vaughan Atkison; brother, Randy (Kellyn) Atkison, Jr.; nephews, Randy “Tripp” Atkison, III and Gavin Atkison; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friends of Alcoholics of Hinds County, MS.
