Vera Laverne Leach, 81 of Quitman died October 23, 2011. She was born April 10, 1930 in Lawrence, Newton, Mississippi to Clarence Ollie Crimm and Ollie Ann Gibbs Crimm. Mrs. Leach was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odell Leach, and a son, Gary.
Survivors include son Johnny Leach and Mary of Greenbrier, daughter Susan Ann Walton and Skylar of Ohio. Other survivors include a brother Clarence Crimm of Meridian, Mississippi, along with 9 grandchildren and 15 and a half great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday October 26 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Quitman with Bishop John McKinney officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until service time at the church. A visitation in Mississippi will take place on Friday from 5pm to 8pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Forest Mississippi. Graveside service will be on Saturday October 29 at 11am in Sulfur Springs Cemetery in Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Leach Jr., Kyle Leach, Tommy Way, Dustin Cassell, John Clark, Trey Clark, Jonathan Clark, William Way, Wyatt Way, and Brennan Clark.
