Verna Lou Craft, 85, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 9-11 am Saturday and will resume at 1 pm Saturday until services at 2 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Mrs. Craft was a native of Simpson County and a longtime resident of Pearl. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church, former employee of School Pictures in Jackson and a longtime homemaker. Mrs. Craft enjoyed attending Wilmut Senior Center, but her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grand-daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Brooks (James) of Pearl; son, Larry Craft (Vickie) of Pearl; grandchildren, William Brooks (Tina) of Pearl, Jessica Maulden (Joshua) of Bolton, Jennifer Brooks of Pearl, Robert Craft of Pearl and Michelle Gatewood (David) of Brandon; great grand-daughter, Cayleigh Gatewood of Brandon.
