Vernon Campbell

Vernon Campbell, 96, passed away on Tues. March 4, 2025 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. March 8, 2025 from 9am-10:30am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 11am on Sat. March 8, 2025 at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mr. Campbell was born on Sept. 13, 1928 in Brownsville, TX to the late Rufus E. Campbell and Vera Holland Campbell. He attended Brandon High School. Upon graduation he enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force for 3 years. Mr. Campbell also worked and retired from Vickers now known as Eaton after 35 years.

He is survived by his son, Ross Campbell (Dana); 2 grandchildren, Clark Campbell (Alison), Andrew Campbell (Brittany) and 3 great-grandchildren, Kaide Campbell, RayLee Campbell and Owen Campbell. Mr. Campbell is also preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Campbell; sister, Nell Floyd and 2 brothers, Rufus Campbell and Billy Joe Campbell.
