VISITATION: 4-8 PM WEDNESDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON AND 10 AM THURSDAY AT FIRST BAPTIST FANNIN



Vernon Dalton Moore, 70, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation is 4-8 pm Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 10 am Thursday at First Baptist Church Fannin. Services will be 11 am Thursday at the church with burial in the church cemetery.

Dalton was a native of Winston County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fannin and a Vietnam Air Force Veteran. Dalton retired from Control Systems in Jackson after 20 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Moore of Brandon; daughter, Ann Marie Walker (Shannon) of Brandon; son, Billy Moore (Teresa) of Brandon; brothers, Doyle Moore of Lawrence and Robert Moore of St. George, GA; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Stephen Walker (Lindsey), Amy Walker, Jimmy Moore and Logan Moore.
