VISITATION: 10 AM WEDNESDAY AT THE CHURCH UNTIL SERVICE TIME
Vernon Randall Cantrell, 56, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at his residence in Brandon. Services are 1 pm Wednesday at Oakdale Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10 am Wednesday until service time at the church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Randall was a native of South Carolina and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a Marine Veteran and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon. Randall was a wonderful musician and vocalist and played in several local Christian Contemporary Bands. He also ran the sound for the local group, “Total Praise.”
Survivors include his daughters, Laura Kristen Cantrell Ellis of Pearl and Rachel Nicole Cantrell of Brandon; former wife, Carole Cantrell of Brandon; father, Vernon L. Cantrell (Jeanie) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; step-daughter, Jennifer Carole Coney (Charles) of Flowood; sister, Suzan Cantrell of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Sabrina Ashley Schooler, Sarah Louise Schooler, Thomas Paul Schooler, Aynslee Shea Ellis and Kiley Elaura Green.
