Vinie Beatrice Dennis

Vinie Beatrice Dennis, 87, a resident of Pearl died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with the interment following the service at 4:30 pm in the Dennis Family Cemetery in Lake. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Mrs. Dennis was a native of Attala County. She was the daughter of Theodore Howell and Clatie Barrett Howell. She was married to Robert Lee Dennis. Mrs. Dennis worked many years in food service for the city of Jackson. She was a member of the Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Dennis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Dennis; son, Thomas Lamar Howell; parents, Theodore “Shortie” and Clatic Howell sisters, Sybil Quinn, Mary Cumberland and Helen Hathorn; brothers, Sam Howell and Jessie Howell.
Mrs. Dennis is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Beaver and her husband Kenneth, Bernice Gill and her husband Raymond and Tonia Sellers; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Trent Beaver, Travis Beaver, Justin Raines, Tim Raines, Justin Mann and Blain Young.
