Virginia F. Davis, age 65, a resident of Newton, died Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Rush Hospital in Meridian following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Saturday August 31, 2013 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral home in Forest with interment to follow in the Damascus Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6pm-9pm Friday August 30, 2013. Rev. Larry Duncan will officiate.
Mrs. Davis was born in Leake County on September 28, 1947 to William Waller, SR and Virgie Simmons Waller. She later moved to Scott County, worked in the poultry industry. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: George Waller, a son: Henry Earl Sanderson, and a sister-in-law: Dezzer Waller.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Wesley Hart of Newton, five children; Michael Sanderson (Cindy) of Pinoeer, LA, Debbie Russey of Walnut Grove, MS, Tammy Rucker of Bartlesville, OK, Jessica Russey (Lewis) of Newton, MS and Christi Thomas of Lake, MS., 2 sisters; Margaret Williamson of Forest, MS, Linda Turnage of Brandon, MS. 2 brothers; William Waller,JR of Walnut Grove, MS and James Waller of Carthage, MS. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are; Joshua Taylor, Derrick Jones, Nick Blount, Daniel Blount, Vincent Waller, and Jonathan Blount. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Thomas and Jason Kittrell.
