“In my Father’s house are many mansions……” Virginia Newcomb McQuirter, a resident of Brandon, MS formerly of Killian, LA, passed away Saturday March 26, 2011 at her home. She was 69, and retired from the Louisiana State Civil Service Department. Visitation will be held Wed. March 30, 2011 from 9am-10:45am. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am. Wed. March 30, 2011 at the funeral home with graveside services following at 2:30pm. in the Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS. Rev. Nathan Lott will officiate the services.
Mrs. McQuirter is survived by her husband, J. Harvey McQuirter, Jr.; mother, Evelyn Mangum; sister and brother-in-law, Alletha and Bobby Tadlock; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Greg Beech; niece, Paige Loft; nephews, Jerry Keyes and Rusty Gray; special friend, Connie Robbins and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Newcomb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Killian Baptist Church P.O. Box 123 Springfield, LA 70462.
