Wellie Melvin "W.M."Garner, age 82 passed away Saturday July 13, 2019 in Brandon MS.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17,2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Thursday, July 18 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home from 12:00pm to 1:45pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton. Interment will be in Springfield Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Don Wilson and Bro. Jerry Lewis will officiate the services.
W.M. loved his Lord and Savior, he enjoyed gardening, canning and making tomato pie. He was an avid MSU Bulldog supporter. W.M was a dedicated member of the Morton Masonic Lodge #254.
Preceded in death were parents, Ray and Ella Garner.
Survivors include wife, Marilyn Garner of Morton, MS.; two sister-n-laws, Pam Jackson and Eugenia Chisholm; special friends, Jimmy Lane Cooper, Dwight Cooper and Dr. David Flemming.
Arrangements are entrusted with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS.
