Visitation: Starts at 1pm Saturday, November 24, 2012 until the 2:00pm service in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Military Graveside services will be 9:30am Monday, November 26, 2012 at Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS

Walter D. Crane, 72, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center. Visitation is Saturday starting at 1pm until the 2pm Service at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Interment will be 9:30am Monday, November 26, 2012 in the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton County with full Military Honors.
Mr. Crane was a Vietnam veteran with the US Army and retired after 22 ½ years of service. Walt was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Lee and Lena Mae Dunn Crane; son, Timothy Lee Crane and a granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Vandevere.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughter, Rebecca Wiseman; sons, Steve Crane and Michael Crane; step children, Russ Posey, Michelle McFarland and Kevin Posey; brothers, Franklin Lee Crane and James William Crane; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
