Walter Elliott

Walter Glenn Elliott, age 80 of Florence, MS, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born in Vaiden, MS on February 27, 1941, to the late Walter and Grace Elliott. He retired from Herrin-Gear as a Parts Salesman and served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved to fish, hunt, and be outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria Elliott; daughter, Mary Grace Elliott; grandsons, Joey Harris and Jarred Harris; and brother, Donald Ford.

He is survived by his children, Victoria Elliott and Renda (Joseph) Harris all of Florence, MS and Stephanie (Christopher Cartwright) Brandon of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, John Harris of Overland Park, KS, Caleb (Elizabeth) Hauck of Florence, MS, and Stefan Todd of Jackson, MS; great-grandchildren, Mason McKay of Pearl, MS and Breanna Harris of South Dakota; a host of other relatives and friends.
