Walter Purvis

Walter Scott Purvis, 72, passed away Thurs. Feb. 14, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Feb. 17, 2019 from 1pm-2:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Sun. Feb. 17, 2019 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Puckett Cemetery in Puckett, MS.

Mr. Purvis was born in Jackson, MS and was currently a resident of Flowood, MS. He was a member of Puckett Baptist Church in Puckett, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ray Purvis and Myrtis Black Purvis and a sister, Susan Wood.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Bowker (Ernest); son, Brent Purvis (Sunie) two grandchildren, Noah and Jonah Purvis; sister, Judy Bolls and his loving companion, Barbara Purvis.
