Mr. Warren T. Jones, age 72 passed away at his residence in Walnut Grove, MS on Saturday, October 29, 2016. There will be no services at this time. Mr. Jones attended the Crossroads Church of God in Walnut Grove, MS. He loved to deer hunt, rabbit hunting and he enjoyed fishing. He loved his dogs and especially loved the pit bull breed. He enjoyed 4-wheeler riding and loved his motorcycle. Warren loved his family and friends and he loved playing pranks on his family.
Mr. Jones was a native of Leake County, MS and he was born to his parents Bilbo and Vera Mae Dickerson Jones on March 6, 1944.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Jones; his parents Bilbo and Vera Mae Dickerson Jones; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
He is survived by his children, Warren Jones, Jr. of Walnut Grove, MS, Carl Lynn (Suzy) Jones of Bessemer, AL, and Chris (Taeko Sawai) Jones of Walnut Grove, MS; his sister, Betty Jones; his brothers, Billy Thomas Jones, and Curly Jones; his great friend Kelly Ray Clark and many nieces and nephews; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
