Wayland H. "Stevie" Stevens, Ii

Wayland H. “Stevie” Stevens, age 78 and a resident of Forest died Thursday, April 20, 2023.

Services will be held at 10am Tuesday, April 25, 2023,  at the OTT  & LEE Funeral Home Chapel with a graveside service to follow in the Eastern Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6pm till 8pm Monday, April 24, 2023, at the funeral home.

Stevie was born on March 18, 1945, to his parents Wayland H. Stevens and Joann Stevens in Plain City, OH.  He later served in the National Guard.  He loved the outdoors, and later owned and operated his own landscaping business.  Stevie had a unique personality and wit,  He loved being around people, even though in a group of friends, he was often noted to be the “quiet one.”  He   will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Stevens.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Stevens of Forest, father W. Hamilton Stevens, and his son Wayland Hamilton “Steve” Stevens.  He is also survived by brothers; David C. Stevens of Niceville, FL, and Richard Austin Stevens of East Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
