W.E. “Buster” Waltman

Mr. W.E. “Buster” Waltman, age 82, a resident of Canton passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation was held 6-8pm Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 1pm Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Jones officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Waltman was born in Rankin County in 1932. He was a Service Manager for Canton Farm Equipment for many years. Buster loved to deer hunt and was a member of Yucatan Hunting Club. He loved to white perch fish. Buster loved his family and loved being a grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Parker Waltman and parents, Clarence Waltman and Ruby Lee Bates Waltman.
He is survived by his children, W.G. “Pete” Waltman and wife, Pam of Lena and Nancy Henry and husband, Tony of Brandon; sister, Louise Huffman (Clyde) of Pelahatchie; brother, Frank Waltman (Peggy) of Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Rachael Cozart (Chris) and Jason Henry; 2 great grandchildren, Matt & Parker Cozart; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Brian Martin, Christian Guy, Waymon Parker, Robert Harrell, John Ratcliff and John Toten.
Memorials may be made in his name and honor to the Blair E. Batson Childrens Hospital.
