Mr. Moudy was a native of Butler, MO. He was the son of Henry Elliott Moudy, Sr. and Nancy Craft Moudy. He was married to Wanda Arlene Wilson Moudy. Mr. Moudy was once asked to describe his professional life, he smiled and said, “Grease Monkey.” In truth, Mr. Moudy could make a motor sing, bend steel to his will and turn a pile of wood into just about anything he imagined. He was truly a jack of all trades master of most. During his early years, He pumped gas, trucked poultry and kept his father’s feed mill humming. Later, he oversaw refrigeration unit maintenance for a trucking company his father helped establish. Mr. Moudy closed his working days as a machine shop owner and master tinkerer. He was always “Uncle Fuzzy” to the Scouts of old Troop 275 and to his family and friends, especially to his nieces and nephews. Before being overtaken by age and illness he cherished long rides aboard his motorcycle, swapping stories at the deer camp, and attending church on Sunday. Like his movie star favorite, John Wayne, he had a bit of a stubborn streak and never sugar coated his words. Mr. Moudy was quick to buck when pushed. He will be remembered as a rare Spirit.

Mr. Moudy was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Arlene Wilson Moudy; parents, Henry Elliot Moudy, Sr. and Nancy Craft Moudy; and his son, Wesley B. Moudy, Jr.

Mr. Moudy is survived by his son, Justin (Sheila) Moudy of Vicksburg, MS; sister, Hendra (Ronald) Harrist of Brandon, MS; brother, Henry Elliot (Minnie) Moudy, Jr. of Cato, MS; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are Andy Harrist, Al Harrist, Tate Moudy, Tim Dennison, Anthony Foster, Jeremy Giles, Charlie Burns and Bill Davidson.
