Mr. Wesley Shoemaker, 61, a resident of Forest died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at MS Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 am Thursday from chapel of the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Clifton Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Bobby Warren will be officiating the services.

Mr. Shoemaker was a native of Scott Co. He was the son of Jack Shoemaker and Mandy Stewart Shoemaker. He was retired from the MS Wildlife Game and Fish. He was a homebuilder for many years. Mr. Shoemaker was a member of the Clifton Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by five brothers Sylvester Shoemaker, B.J. Shoemaker, Charles Ray Shoemaker, Johnny Shoemaker and Milton Shoemaker; two sisters, Modena Edwards and Louise Turner.
He is survived by his former wife, Linda Shoemaker of Morton; daughters, Linda Luke of Porterville and Lisa Mobbs of Clifton; brother, Wayne Shoemaker; sisters, Dianne Fisher and Emma D. Harvey all of Clifton; grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Abby Boswell, Cody Holmes, Lexie Mobbs, Alyssa Mobbs, Brandon Mobbs, Jessica Luke and Adrianna Luke; great grandchildren; Kyra Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Aliviah Brown, Nate Boswell, and Madison Brown
