William Glenn Barrett Morton William Glenn Barrett, age 65, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Jackson. His visitation was held 5-9pm Friday, February 21, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 1pm Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery. Rev. Robert Gatewood officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Mr. Barrett was born in Quitman County in 1948. He was a truck driver for many years and loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He is survived by his children, William Donald Gray (Rita) of Morton, Michelle L. Thomas (John) of Morton, Robert M. Gray (Kim) of Morton and Cassandra Rose Barrett of Morton; sisters, Betty Jean Alford (Sam) of Forkville and Barbara N. Fant of Memphis; brother, Harold Eugene Barrett of New Orleans; 8 grandchildren, Robert Charles Gray, William Levi Stevens, William Daniel Stevens, Joseph Ladner, Kasey Lynn Gray, William Henry Gray, Joshua Gray and Ariel Gray and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Kay Barrett; parents, Cap Jefferson Barrett Sr. and Eula Beatrice Dodson Barrett; 6 sisters, Lajune Barrett, Jeanette Barrett, Delores Musgrove, Dorothy Jones, Nellie Mae Martin and Mary Elizabeth Moran; 4 brothers, Cap Jefferson Jr., Jerry Dean Barrett, Billy Wayne Barrett and James Howard Barrett. Pallbearers were Henry C. Holmes, Kenneth Holmes, Charlie Jones, John Hodge, Robert Charles Gray and Harvey Jackson. Honorary pallbearers were Burl Turnage and Joseph Havard.
