William Edward Blue

William Edward “Billy” Blue Jr.

July 20, 1945 - January 31, 2024

Bill, age 77, a resident of Brandon, MS. Lived in the Jackson metro all of his life.  Bill was born in Kosciusko on July 20, 1947.  His peace came on Wednesday January 31, 2024.

His favorite things were riding motorcycles, cooking/grilling, listen to and playing music.  His favorite music was Classic/Southern rock, blues and jazz.   He also liked Jeet Kun Do, the outdoors and his pets.

Preceding him in death were his parents Helen Jordan mother, William E. Blue Sr. father, sister Beverly Rigby and brother George Frederick Blue.

He is survived by his brother Harry C. Blue (Surprise, AZ), his nieces Johanna Rigby, Mary Horne, Tiffany Lancaster and Amanda Blue.   His nephews Clark Rigby, David Rigby and Ryan Blue.

A memorial for Bill to take place in a couple of months, is currently being planned.

His love for life, family and friends cannot be put into words.

Bill was a man of many talents and always full of surprises.  He defined COOL.

I can now finally say, He is doin’ the do, rest in peace brother.
