William Byrd

William Glynn Byrd, age 92, resident of Jackson, MS, passed away Saturday December 26, 2020. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the love and care he received at G. V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center’s long-term care facility for the past 10 years. Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ruth Byrd, and sister, Joanne Byrd Hedgepeth, and parents, Elbert and Jennie Mae Byrd.  He is survived by his brother Ed Byrd of Tucson, AZ; daughter Brenda Byrd German; granddaughters, Valerie (Ben) Berry, Emily (Caleb) Stuart, and Laurie Vanstone; great granddaughter Olivia Ruth Berry of Arab, AL; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
