William Gary "Pete" Polk

William Gary “Pete” Polk, 61, passed away on Tues. June 25, 2024 at his home in Florence, MS. Visitation will be held on Thurs. June 27, 2024 from 9am-10am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 10:30am on Thurs. June 27, 2024 at the New Covenant Cemetery in Harrisville, MS.

 Mr. Polk was born in Forest, MS on Sept. 28, 1962. He loved music and could play all types of instruments.

 He is survived by his mother, Shirley Boyte; children, Beth Polk, Leslie Dekle (Austin) and Kristen Williams; sister, Sandra Smith Calhoun (Jared) and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Polk is preceded in death by his father, Mack Boyte; brother, Jerry Frank Polk and a sister, Donna Polk.
