William Sumrall

Mr. William Jerry Sumrall, age 65, and a resident of Meridian passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Funeral services will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Billy Ray Parker will officiate. Interment will follow in Groveton Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sumrall was a truck driver for Howard Industries at the time of his death. He enjoyed the love of the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a Christian by testimony of his faith. He loved his family very much in particular, his grandchildren. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William O. Sumrall and Geneva Liles Sumrall and one sister: Loretta Bell.

Survivors include one son: Jeremy Sumrall and four grandchildren: Madelyn Mae Sumrall, Maci Taylor Sumrall, Presley Skye Sumrall, and Jeremy Aiden Sumrall.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sumrall, David Alamond, Scott Alamond, Ronnie Harris, Jacob Boykin, Payton Massey, and Brandon Haley.
