William Longo

William T. “Bill” Longo, age 84, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS with interment in Lakeland Place Memorial Park in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the church.

Mr. Longo was born March 26, 1938, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Peter and Margaret Trisko Longo. He was married to Betty Grissom Longo. He was member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS, where he served as a church usher. He enjoyed hunting and any great outdoor adventure. It was said that he was never short of a friend. He loved people and staying in touch with family and friends. Mr. Longo had hobbies like making jewelry, and holsters. He was most proud of his family and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Longo was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Margaret Trisko Longo, and his brother, Peter Longo.

Mr. Longo is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Grissom Longo of Brandon, MS; children, David Longo (Karen) of Brandon, MS, Billy Longo (Jan) Bradenton, FL, Tom Longo (Cinde) Columbia, MS, and Angela Moudy (Steve) of Brandon, MS; brother, Frank Longo of Stratford, CT; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; extended family and a host of friends.
