William Franklin "Tripp" Stewart III

William Franklin Stewart III (affectionately known as Tripp) passed away at his home in Morton, MS on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the early age of 43. Visitation will be held at Ott & Lee on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12:30 with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Lakeland Place Memorial Park. Brother Bobby McGuffie & Brother Charles “Benny” Still will be officiating. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. 

Tripp was born on January 16 1980, in Cleveland, MS to Bill and Betty Stewart, and two sisters who all loved him immensely. Tripp was baptized on April 16, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS.

Tripp attended special education classes at CHS in Cleveland, MS and participated in many Special Olympics events over the years. Tripp loved his family, Mississippi State football, shrimp, root beer, movies, and most of all- he loved the Lord. Tripp enjoyed going to garage sales with his momma and putting puzzles together.  

Tripp is survived by his parents, Betty and Bill (who he called Bill) of Brandon, MS; his sisters Amy (Nannie) Mike Rummage of Brandon, MS; Jessyca (Decca) Brian Mosley of Smithville, MS. He leaves behind his nephew Gage & Jessica Sappington of Doddsville, MS; and his nieces Kelsey Smith, Courtney Smith, and Chloe Mosley. One great niece, Clara Sappington (my babeeey) and one great nephew, Winston Mosley. 

Tripp was a beautiful person inside and out. His smile was so stunning that he would light up the whole room. He cared and loved so deeply for the people around him and made an impact on anyone he met. He will be forever missed. 

Pallbearers will be: Mike Rummage, Wesley Banks, Andy Stewart, Gage Sappington, Jason Smith, Brain Mosley, & Junior Miller.
