William Franklin Stone, 83, died Monday, May 2, 2011, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS.A memorial service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Fannin, MS (Hwy 471) at 11am on Saturday, May 7, 2011.He was born in Blakely, West Virginia in 1928 and grew up in Mullins, WV. In 1952-1954 he served in the Army in Tokyo Japan during the Korean War.For most of his professional career (34 years) he worked for AT&T in Oakton, Virginia where he was an engineer in communications. He retired from AT&T in 1987 and moved to Lake Anna, Virginia with his wife Margaret. In 2008 he moved to Brandon, MS near his daughter Lori. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret; his only daughter, Lori Lusk of Brandon MS; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; as well as by his half-brother, Rev.
