William David Ainsworth, 61, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 in Florence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

David was a native of Pelahatchie, having lived in Hattiesburg and New Orleans, but spent most of his life in the Jackson area. He was an avid supporter of the University of Southern Mississippi and loved his Golden Eagles. David was a Mud Logging Technician and also owned and operated Location Sample Services in Rankin County, the company he began his career with.

Survivors include his son, Bill Ainsworth of Ocean Springs; mother, Sue Ainsworth of Brandon; sisters, Paula Ainsworth Spragg (Steve) of Fort Worth, TX and Kay Ainsworth Delozier of McComb; brother, Larry Ainsworth of Brandon; niece, Caitlyn Ainsworth of Meridian and nephew, Hunter Spragg. David was preceded in death by his father, W. E. (Bill) Ainsworth in 1993.
