William Henry Parker, 91, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Monday, January 25, 2016. Visitation is Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A graveside service will be held at Lawrence Cemetery in Lawrence, MS at 10 am on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Daniel and Madge Weems Parker; son, John Weems Parker; brother, Charles D. Parker, Jr.; sisters, Martha Emma Bounds (Rayford), Hermoine Cotton (Hillard), Irma Lee Rube (Byrd), Madge Vickery (Richard), Virginia Sessions (Percy) and Laura Bridewell (Albert); brother-in-law; Randy Barnes.
Survivors include his wife, Robinette Riddle Parker; son, Scott Parker; daughter, Penny Parker Lowery; grandchildren, Parker Lowery and Maggie Lowery; brother, James A. Parker (Merle); sisters, Nell Barnes and Clara Jane Higginbotham (C.Y) and 18 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brandon First United Methodist Church, 205 Mary Ann Drive, Brandon, MS 39042.
