Mr. Leonard Wicker

Mr. William Leonard Wicker, age 74, a resident of Pulaski, MS, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Forest, MS. Leonard was a lifelong resident of the Homewood and Pulaski community. A logger by trade, he helped his dad log when he was a young man, and later, started his own logging business, and ran it till his retirement. Married to Linda Evans Wicker, they had five children together, fifteen grandchildren: four great grandchildren. Hobbies of Leonard was hunting, fishing, loved riding his dog cracker, on his four-wheeler, but most of all, he loved his family, and would playfully fuss with them. Leonard will be missed by his family and all that knew him.
Leonard is preceded by his parents, William E., and Clara Mae Henry Wicker: sisters, Sue Black and Flora J. Wicker: son, Leonard Dewayne Wicker; brother James Wicker.
Survived by wife, Linda Wicker; four children, Mike Wicker, his wife (JaDonne), Davey Wicker, his wife (Heather), Teressa Sanders, her husband (Mike) and Jimmy Smith; brother, Glenn Wicker, his wife (Clarice); fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren, with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5 to 8pm, Monday, February 7, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS.
Funeral Service will be 11am, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton MS, with Bro. David Goree Officiating. Interment will be at New Good Hope Cemetery in Pulaski, MS.
Funeral Services are entrusted with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton MS.
