Mr. Otto Harrell, age 71, a resident of Leesburg passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his residence. His visitation was held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 5-9pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 2pm Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Holmes officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Harrell was born February 9, 1942 in Rankin County. He loved going fishing and running trotlines. He loved helping others and loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Harrell and sister, Ruby Sumrall.
He is survived by his spouse, Wilma Harrell of Forest; father, Claude Harrell of Branch; children, Cynthia Harrell of Jackson, Eric Harrell of Forest and Stephanie Nelson (Mike) of Forest; sisters, Dorothy Sistrunk (Doyle) of Morton and Debra Rushing (James) of Morton; 3 grandchildren, Kristian Nelson, Samuel Nelson and Nathan Nelson; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Randy Harrell, Ryan Harrell, Johnny Sumrall, Donnie Harrell, Justin Craig and Donnie Crabtree.
