Willie J. “Pete” Bethany, 89, passed away on July 8, 2015, at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, MS. Visitation will start at 9am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with services at 11am Saturday in the chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson, MS.
Pete was born in Neshoba County, MS. He married the former Janelle Windham on Dec. 10, 1955 and he was a retired electrician.
Pete is survived by his wife, Janelle; 2 daughters, Elaine (Ronnie) Harris of Brandon and Donna Malone of Westminster, CO; 2 granddaughters, Carla (Chris) Boyd of CO and Michelle Malone of CO; 2 great granddaughters, Jordan and Tatum Hendricks and 1 great grandson, Aiden Boyd. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Cassie Peebles of Union, MS and Velma Johnson of Bemidji, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund.
