Willie Frank Vaughn, 81, passed away Fri. March 4, 2016 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. March 6, 2016 from 2pm-5pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 12pm on Mon. March 7, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with a 2:30pm graveside service to follow at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS.
Mrs. Vaughn was born in Vardaman, MS, lived most of her life in Taylorsville, MS and has been a resident of Rankin County for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Vaughn liked gardening, and enjoyed camping. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Lingenfelder (Eddie); three grandchildren, Rhiannon Henderson, Anna Claire Lingenfelder and Allison Lingenfelder; three sisters, Marie Canton, Mildred Parker, Martha Dalton and one brother, Pat Hodge. Mrs. Vaughn is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Vaughn and a daughter, Stephanie Vaughn Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital at 2500 N. State St. Jackson, MS 39216.
